High on Knife

2 years after the events of High on Life, Knifey and the player set out on another bounty to find a lost package in the depths of Muxxalon. My work included creating art for collectibles and updating menus with new locations and equipment.

Postcards

These in-game postcards served as collectibles and a way to encourage player exploration. Using renders taken by environment artists, I created several cards inspired by screen printing and the charmingly quaint postcards you’d find of local landmarks. It was a fun challenge taking high definition screenshots from UE4 and making them feel more painterly, like what one might get from an analog camera or an old printer.

Trading Cards

Inspired by Garbage Pail Kids and a variety of TCG games, these cards served as in-game collectibles. I designed the card back and frame, and the card art was painted (traditionally!) by the amazing Joe Simko.
