High on Life

High on Life is a comedy, sci-fi shooter with an emphasis on narrative. I worked as the main UI/UX designer, working on final assets and in-engine implementation. My responsibilities included UI illustration, shader work, and Blueprint scripting. It was a fun exercise in figuring out how to inject HoL’s brand of irreverent humor into the interface, and forming an art direction that’s cartoonish yet sleek, and also occasionally peppered with the iconic jank of the 2000’s.
